How far out are you scheduling?

Scheduling varies by season and current project load. The best way to find out is to reach out — we’ll give you a realistic timeline during your free estimate conversation.

Will my bathroom be completely unusable during the remodel?

For most full remodels, yes — the bathroom will be out of commission during the project. We’ll talk through your home’s bathroom situation during the estimate and help you plan accordingly. One-Day Bath installs are back in service the same evening.

What happens during the free estimate?

We meet at your home, walk through the space together, talk through your goals and budget, and answer your questions. After the visit we put together a written, itemized quote. The whole appointment typically takes 30–60 minutes. No pressure, no obligation.

Do you use subcontractors?

Modify Remodeling uses our own crews for all work. You get one team, one point of contact, and one contractor responsible for the entire project from demo to final walk-through.

What if you find water damage or mold during demo?

It happens — especially in older homes across Cecil and Harford County. When we find it, we stop, show you exactly what we found, explain your options, and get your approval before proceeding with any additional work. No surprise bills for things discovered mid-project without your knowledge.

Do you handle design and material selection?

Yes. We help you select tile, cabinets, countertops, hardware, and finishes during the design phase — including 3D renderings for larger projects so you can visualize the finished space before demo begins. You can also browse our selections page for One-Day Bath acrylic options, hardware finishes, and kitchen cabinet styles.

What does your warranty cover?

Modify Remodeling offers a lifetime warranty on both labor and products for all work we perform. This applies across all our services — bathroom remodels, One-Day Bath installs, kitchen renovations, and everything else we handle.

Do I need a permit for a bathroom remodel?

It depends on scope. Cosmetic updates — new tile, vanity, fixtures in the same location — typically don’t require permits. Structural changes, plumbing relocation, and electrical work usually do. Modify Remodeling handles all permit coordination for work that requires it in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.
